Job summary

Neo4j is building the Analytics API and infrastructure for Aura’s Product Analytics Platform. You will own the API design, data contracts, and the integration layer that enables multiple product teams to send analytics events efficiently. This is a founding role with substantial ownership and cross-team collaboration.

You’ll work with Engineering, Product Management, and other teams to shape the platform, balance long-term maintainability, and drive broad adoption across the organization.

Qualifications

• Strong backend software engineering experience in Go.
• Experience designing well-defined APIs and integration contracts.
• Familiarity with event-driven data pipelines and analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate the Analytics API and infrastructure.
• Define schemas and contracts used by Aura product teams.
• Drive API adoption across engineering and product management teams.
• Evaluate make-or-buy options in the data analytics stack.
• Collaborate with downstream data pipelines to ensure reliable events.
