Job summary

NordicNeuroLab, headquartered in Bergen, Norway, seeks an Electrical Compliance Engineer to join the Quality & Regulatory Affairs team. This newly established role collaborates with VP Quality & Regulatory Affairs and engineering to ensure compliance across the product lifecycle, translating standards into practical design, testing, and documentation.

You will help shape compliance capabilities for medical technology used worldwide, with a strong emphasis on electrical safety, certification

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
• Experience with standards, compliance, certification, verification, validation, testing and quality.
• Strong technical writing and ability to produce audit-ready documentation.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and apply international standards and regulatory requirements for electrical and electronic products.
• Support engineering teams in translating regulatory requirements into design, test, verification, and validation activities.
• Review product designs, test plans, and engineering documentation from a compliance perspective.
• Develop and maintain compliance and traceability documentation.
• Support verification and validation activities throughout product development and sustaining engineering.
• Coordinate compliance and certification activities with external laboratories and certification bodies.
• Contribute to product risk management related to electrical safety and compliance.
• Support regulatory submissions and technical documentation for global markets.
• Assess the compliance impact of product changes and obsolescence.
