Job summary

NordicNeuroLab, headquartered in Bergen, Norway, seeks a detail-oriented QA Technician to ensure materials, components, and products meet quality standards before reaching customers. You will collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to maintain traceability and compliance.

This hands-on role focuses on documentation, inspections, quality control activities, and ongoing improvement within a production environment.

Qualifications

• Technical education or relevant practical experience.
• Experience reading procedures, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Experience in manufacturing, production, QA, or QC environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming inspections of components, assemblies, and materials.
• Conduct visual and mechanical inspections of PCBAs, electronic components, optical parts, and mechanical parts.
• Perform functional testing of products and assemblies according to established procedures prior to release.
• Review production documentation and DPRs to ensure accuracy and traceability.
• Identify, document, and follow up quality deviations and NCRs.
• Support root cause investigations and corrective actions in production areas.
• Ensure manufacturing and inspection activities follow approved procedures.
• Support calibration and maintenance of production and test equipment.
• Assist with environmental monitoring where applicable.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of quality processes and documentation.
• Work closely with Production and Quality teams to maintain compliance and product quality.
