Wallenius Wilhelmsen is seeking a Device Manager to own and evolve the global device landscape. You will shape standards, governance and the technical direction for endpoint devices, leveraging Microsoft Intune and the Azure ecosystem across a global footprint.

The role focuses on ownership and development of the device management program, collaborating with Security, Procurement and strategic partners to ensure secure, standardized and efficient operations.

Formación

• Hands-on experience from IT operations, system administration, Modern Workplace or endpoint management.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Intune and experience managing devices in a Microsoft environment.
• Good understanding of Azure and the wider Microsoft ecosystem.
• Experience with vendors, managed services or outsourced IT delivery is an advantage.
• A structured approach and an interest in creating standards, documentation and repeatable processes.

Responsabilidades

• Managing the global lifecycle of workplace devices from procurement through configuration, management, replacement and retirement.
• Taking ownership of the device management environment, with Microsoft Intune as a key platform.
• Defining and maintaining technical standards, policies and configurations for devices and endpoints.
• Driving standardization of endpoint technologies and client platforms across countries and business units.
• Working with Azure and the broader Microsoft ecosystem to ensure devices are managed securely and efficiently.
• Using your technical understanding to challenge suppliers, troubleshoot complex issues and improve technical solutions.
• Working closely with Security on endpoint security, compliance, access and governance.
• Collaborating with Procurement to ensure technical requirements are reflected in sourcing decisions and supplier agreements.
• Managing strategic vendor relationships and following up on technical quality and service delivery.
• Identifying opportunities to automate, simplify and improve device-related processes.
• Evaluating new technologies and helping define the future workplace technology landscape at Wallenius Wilhelmsen.
