Qualifications

• Extremely proficient in at least one programming language (Java, Scala, C#).
• Strong experience in systems architecture – scalable distributed systems.
• Demonstrable experience as a system owner with operational responsibility.
• Proficient in lower-level engineering: GC, context switching, threading.
• DevOps culture – agility, leanness, automation, CI/CD.
• Good understanding of application security.
• Passionate about technology and the Internet.
• Successfully worked in an agile development team.
• Run engineering teams before with 5+ direct reports.
• Operate autonomously: making decisions, setting KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Drive the end-to-end execution of AI-focused product and platform initiatives, fostering scalability and high‑impact delivery.
• Be hands-on – write and review code, giving expert coaching to engineers.
• Be passionate about engineering, system architecture, and maintaining scalable solutions.
• Do full-stack engineering: infrastructure, client side, back end, performance, data.
• Develop people – inspire and integrate top performers into the business.
