Job summary

CTS Nordics is seeking an experienced General Services Site Camp Manager to oversee day-to-day operations for the Narvik project, including accommodation, catering, welfare, security and site utilities. You will coordinate suppliers, manage budgets and drive continuous improvements across all facilities.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong HSE knowledge, and fluency in Norwegian and English. You will work on a large-scale Northern Norway project, with responsibility for mobilisation,

Qualifications

  • Proven track record as Camp Manager or Site Services Manager/Facilities in large projects.
  • Experience managing accommodation, catering, logistics, security and other site services.
  • Strong understanding of HSE, fire safety and site regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all general site services, including offices, accommodation, catering, welfare, housekeeping, waste management, transport, security and site utilities.
  • Coordinate and supervise service providers and subcontractors.
  • Ensure suppliers meet SLAs, RAMS and site requirements.
  • Manage mobilisation and demobilisation of modules, site infrastructure and site layouts.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, fire safety regulations and applicable local legislation.
  • Work closely with the HSE team to identify and address potential hazards and risks.
  • Manage budgets, purchase orders and general service costs.
  • Prepare and maintain operational plans, rosters, including night shifts, contingency plans and emergency response procedures.
  • Coordinate accommodation bookings, housekeeping and catering requirements in line with workforce rosters.
  • Lead regular site inspections, quality checks, defect tracking and punch-list close-out with suppliers and relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage site inventory and equipment for all facilities.
  • Coordinate logistics routines, deliveries, waste collection, linen services and transportation of subcontractors between the camp and project site.
  • Ensure fire alarms, smoke detectors and other safety systems are regularly monitored and maintained.
  • Hold regular meetings with security personnel and follow up on incidents and behavioural issues, including compliance with site rules regarding drugs and alcohol.
  • Maintain good communication with internal and external stakeholders and provide regular operational status reports.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvements to reduce costs and improve service delivery, including optimising logistics and bundling minor works.

  • Ensure suppliers meet agreed SLAs, RAMS and site requirements.
  • Manage mobilisation and demobilisation of modules, site infrastructure and site layouts.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, fire safety regulations and applicable local legislation.
  • Work closely with the HSE team to identify and address potential hazards and risks.

What we are looking for
  • Previous experience from a similar Camp Manager, Site Services Manager, General Services Manager or Facilities Management role.
  • Experience managing accommodation, catering, logistics, security and other site services.
  • Experience from large construction, infrastructure, industrial or data centre projects is an advantage.
  • Strong experience in managing subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Good understanding of HSE, fire safety and site regulations.
  • Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of site operations.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.
