FULL-TIME Phlebotomist in Laboratory

Purpose

Provide skilled venipuncture services for all patients and assist the medical technologist in processing samples and information.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent. Training in venipuncture.
• Exposure to laboratory instrumentation and quality control practices
• Computer and word processing skills.
• Current CPR certification.
• Able to work all shifts.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
• Possesses positive customer service skills.

Working Conditions

• Employee will be lifting and carrying up to 25% of the day.
• Employee will be sitting 10% of the day.
• Employee will be standing and walking 45% of the day.
• Employee will be twisting, climbing, kneeling, stooping, and bending 10% of the day.
• Employee will be reaching at or above shoulder level 10% of the day.
