Job summary

Aptic AB is seeking a Full-Stack Machine Learning Engineer to own an ML solution, revive and transition it to live production, and contribute to broader AI initiatives. You will work across ML, backend, integrations, and frontend, with scope to grow into new challenges and products.

You will design, develop, test, and deploy features, APIs, and data pipelines, and collaborate with internal experts to evolve knowledge and infrastructure while maintaining excellent documentation and tests.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing, developing, and optimizing predictive models using machine learning and deep learning techniques.
• Experience in training, evaluating, deploying, and monitoring neural network models in production environments.
• Solid understanding of software architecture and engineering best practices.
• Understanding of integration patterns and data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Improve existing machine learning models with measurable gains in accuracy, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy new features across backend, AI/ML, and frontend layers.
• Design and implement APIs and integrations with internal and external systems.
• Collaborate with internal experts to rebuild knowledge, processes, and infrastructure.
• Write automated tests and verification scripts for the solution.
• Create, run, maintain on the build and deploy pipelines
• Produce high-quality technical documentation and knowledge-sharing material
• Support AI initiatives across the company when needed.
• Contribute to Aptic products and development teams as business needs to evolve.

We are now looking for a Full-Stack Machine Learning Engineer to take ownership of one of our machine learning solutions and help shape the next generation of AI-powered capabilities within Aptic. You will be part of a small team giving you large impact on solution design and work processes.

Initially, you will revive, enhance, and transition to live production an ML platform, working across machine learning, LLMs, backend development, integrations, and frontend technology. Over time, you will also contribute to broader AI initiatives and product development within Aptic. This gives you the opportunity to build deep expertise in one solution while maintaining flexibility to grow into new technical challenges and products.

What you'll do

As a Full-Stack ML Engineer, you will transition to live production and take end-to-end ownership of an ML solution and ensure it continues to evolve, perform, and create value.

What you'll bring

• Experience in designing, developing, and optimizing predictive models using machine learning and deep learning techniques.

• Understanding of integration patterns and data pipelines.

• Experience with SQL Server or similar relational databases.

• Experience with development in Python, C# and frontend Javascript based frameworks like React.

• Fluent in English, written and spoken.

• Working knowledge of Norwegian is an advantage

• Knowledge about financial papers valuation an advantage
