Job summary

Aptic AB is seeking a Full-Stack Machine Learning Engineer in Oslo to take ownership of an ML solution, revive it, and transition it to live production. You will work across machine learning, LLMs, backend, integrations, and frontend technologies to deliver value.

Initially, you will revitalize the ML platform, continuously improving models and pipelines while collaborating with the team on broader AI initiatives and product development within Aptic.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, developing, and optimizing predictive models.
• Experience training, evaluating, deploying, and monitoring neural networks in production.
• Solid understanding of software architecture and engineering best practices.
• Understanding of integration patterns and data pipelines.
• Experience with SQL Server or similar relational databases.
• Experience with Python, C#, and frontend JavaScript frameworks like React.
• Fluent in English; working Norwegian is an advantage.
• Knowledge about financial papers valuation is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of an ML solution and ensure it evolves and delivers value.
• Improve existing models with measurable gains in accuracy and efficiency.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy features across backend, AI/ML, and frontend.
• Design and implement APIs and integrations with systems.
• Collaborate with experts to rebuild knowledge, processes, and infrastructure.
• Write automated tests and verification scripts for the solution.
• Build, run, and maintain build and deployment pipelines.
• Produce technical documentation and knowledge-sharing materials.
• Support AI initiatives across the company when needed.
