Job summary

LearnLux is seeking a Financial Advisor located in Norway to join our team on a contractor basis. Leveraging the LearnLux digital experience, you'll work with employees across the Nordic region (Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Denmark), focusing on high-net-worth clients navigating complex wealth.

This remote role reports to our Global Planning Manager. You should have fluent English and Norwegian, demonstrated experience advising high net worth clients, and the ability to manage multiple

Qualifications

• Fluent English and Norwegian, written and spoken.
• Experience advising high net worth clients with complex financial needs.
• Passion for educating individuals to manage their finances.
• Ability to multitask and take direction from multiple team members.
• Experience across retirement, equity compensation, investments, budgeting, debt and estate planning.

Responsibilities

• Meet and engage with clients remotely to guide budgeting, retirement readiness, equity compensation, and more.
• Advise high net worth clients on concentrated stock, cross-border tax exposure, and wealth transfer planning.
• Adapt LearnLux methodology to Nordic region topics including Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Denmark.
• Participate in team meetings to improve the LearnLux digital experience.
• Become an expert on client benefit plans and act as an extension of their team during enrollments.
• Collaborate with content team to review and approve platform content.
• Lead engagement campaigns for employer partners via webinars and on-site events.

About the Role

LearnLux is looking for a Financial Advisorlocated in Norwayto join our team on a contractor basis. Leveraging the LearnLux digital experience, you'll work directly with employees across the Nordic region (Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Denmark), with a strong focus on high-net-worth (HNW) clients navigating complex wealth. Your extensive financial experience and client-first approach will help these clients protect, grow, and plan around significant assets, while still serving the full range of employees we support across income levels.

This is a fully remote role reporting to our Global Planning Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet and engage with clients remotely over video, chat, and email to give guidance on topics like budgeting, retirement readiness, equity compensation, and more
• Advise high net worth (HNW) clients on complex topics like concentrated stock positions, cross-border tax exposure, and wealth transfer planning
• Advise on and adapt the LearnLux methodology to financial planning topics relevant in the Nordic Region (including Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Denmark)
• Participate in regular team meetings to bring your subject matter expertise to improve the LearnLux digital experience
• Become an expert on our client's benefit plans so you can act as an extension of their team during benefit enrollment
• Work with our content team to create outlines, review lessons, and approve content created for the LearnLux digital platform
• Lead engagement campaigns for our employer partners like digital webinars and occasional on-site events

You Should Have

• Fluent English and Norwegian, written and spoken
• Demonstrated experience advising high net worth clients, including on concentrated equity positions and complex financial situations
• Passion for educating individuals to take control and invest in their financial future
• Have the ability to perform several tasks concurrently, to prioritize work, and to take direction from multiple team members
• Experience in multiple areas of personal finance including retirement, equity compensation, investments, budgeting, debt management, cash flow planning, estate planning, and risk management

Nice to haves

• Fluency in other Nordic languages such as Danish, Swedish, or Finnish
• Prior experience serving high net worth clients at a wealth management firm
• Startup and/or Fintech experience
• Experience creating presentations and presenting to large audiences
