Job summary

Shearwater GeoServices is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join the Multi-Client team. You will serve as the trusted finance advisor to leaders on evaluation, development and long-term value realization of Multi-Client seismic data investments.

You’ll own financial evaluations, model development, and robust baselines. You will coordinate forecasts, manage cash-flow, and deliver reporting to support informed decisions and value creation.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent).
• 5–8 years’ experience in FP&A, Finance Business Partnering, Project Controlling, Commercial Finance or Operational Finance.
• Experience in a project-based industry.
• Solid financial modelling, planning and forecasting skills, with strong commercial acumen.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, influencing and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of financial evaluations and business/project models for new opportunities, validating assumptions and establishing baselines.
• Coordinate sales forecasts with Business Developers and manage project cash-flow forecasting, invoicing and working-capital performance.
• Prepare financial and operational reports, analyses and presentations for management, executive, steering committee and board reporting.
• Act as a trusted finance partner, partnering with commercial, operational and finance teams to improve business outcomes.
