Job summary

Aggreko plc is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, service, troubleshoot, and maintain equipment at customer sites across Norway. Based from the Tananger depot, this hands-on role involves regular travel to client locations and close collaboration with customers and internal teams.

You will work with generators, chillers, power distribution, and related systems, ensuring safe, reliable operation and timely documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in servicing, maintaining, or troubleshooting technical equipment.
• Technical knowledge in mechanical, electrical, or engine systems along with relevant trade certificates in electrical or mechanical field “fagbrev”
• A self-motivated individual who takes ownership of their work
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused mindset
• A valid Category B driving licence
• Good communication skills in both Norwegian and English

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and decommission equipment at customer sites
• Carry out preventive maintenance and servicing
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system faults
• Perform functional testing and ensure high operational reliability
• Complete service documentation in accordance with company procedures
• Maintain a strong focus on safety and quality in all aspects of work
• Provide technical support to customers and colleagues
