Job summary

Aggreko in Tananger, Norway, is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, service, troubleshoot and maintain our equipment at customer sites. This hands-on role offers autonomy and regular travel to sites across the region, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

You will work with generators, power distribution gear, load banks and HVAC systems, performing commissioning, preventive maintenance and fault diagnosis to ensure reliable operation for customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in servicing, maintaining, or troubleshooting technical equipment.
• Technical knowledge in mechanical, electrical, or engine systems with relevant trade certificates.
• Valid Category B driving licence and good Norwegian/English communication.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and decommission equipment at customer sites.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and servicing.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control faults.
• Perform functional testing to ensure high operational reliability.
• Complete service documentation per company procedures.
• Maintain safety and quality standards in all work.
• Provide technical support to customers and colleagues.
