Job summary

Indie Campers is the leading campervan marketplace expanding across depots. We are hiring an Operations Manager to lead daily execution for 2-3 depots and 300-450 vehicles, reporting to the District Manager.

This hands-on role requires frequent travel and frontline shift coverage to ensure on-time check-ins and check-outs. You will coach Supervisors, monitor KPIs, manage labor and budgets, and drive continuous improvement while upholding safety and SOP standards.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of hands-on operations experience.
• 2-3 years of leading teams across multiple locations.
• Experience managing labor, overtime, scheduling, and budgets.
• Strong understanding of KPIs and operational improvement.
• Fluent English and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations across 2-3 depots and 300-450 vehicles.
• Coach and develop Operations Supervisors; set daily/weekly expectations.
• Ensure vehicles are ready, clean, safe, and available for check-ins/check-outs.
• Monitor KPIs, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage labor, overtime, scheduling, productivity, and operating expenses within budget.
• Coordinate workforce coverage across locations, especially season peaks.
• Ensure SOPs, safety, compliance, and people practices are followed.
• Resolve escalated issues and drive process improvements across depots.
• Visit depots weekly and complete frontline shifts monthly.
• Be the first escalation point for critical issues and support during peak times.
