Job summary

Digital Catapult is seeking a confident Head of Facilities to lead the safe, smooth operation of our workplaces across the UK. You will own front of house, space planning, security, cleaning, maintenance and health and safety, shaping a modern hybrid working environment.

You’ll manage a facilities team of around four people, build strong supplier relationships, oversee budgets and reporting, and drive business continuity and incident response to keep offices compliant and welcoming for

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading facilities teams in a busy office environment.
• Professional experience across multiple sites is preferred.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation for office environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operation of UK office facilities across locations.
• Manage front of house, reception, meeting spaces and services.
• Develop and coach a facilities team of around four people.
• Maintain supplier and landlord relationships, ensuring high-quality, cost-effective services.
• Oversee budgets, reporting and data analysis to drive decisions.
• Lead health and safety activities, including training and incident reporting.
• Support operation of technical facilities and laboratories with facilities expertise.
• Plan future workspace needs and office moves/transitions.
• Contribute to business continuity and emergency response.
