Job summary

GS Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support a large-scale data centre construction project in Europe, with a Norway rotation. This freelance/contract role offers the chance to work with multidisciplinary construction and client teams on a technically complex programme.

You will oversee electrical installation works, review drawings and specifications, coordinate HV/LV systems, monitor subcontractors, tests and handover activities, and produce progress documentation while

Qualifications

• Degree or recognised qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of electrical infrastructure and commissioning processes.
• Experience working with main contractors, specialist subcontractors and client teams.
• Willingness to travel regularly within Europe.

• Coordinate HV/LV systems, switchgear, UPS, generators, transformers and power-distribution packages.

• Support testing, commissioning, inspections and handover activities.
• Produce progress reports and maintain accurate project documentation.
• Ensure works comply with project standards, local regulations and relevant European codes.

Candidate Requirements

• Willingness to travel regularly within Europe.
• EU nationality and unrestricted EU work and travel rights are essential.

Rate: €600 - 700+ per day, subject to experience, project scope and contractual arrangements.
