Job summary

University of Utah Health seeks a dedicated instructional designer to build web-based and other employee development materials across the organization, delivering online and in-person instruction. You will design curricula, create course content, and assess learning outcomes to advance our learning programs.

You will collaborate with diverse teams, drive e-learning initiatives, and support project management across departments to enhance staff development and training effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalency.
• Five plus years of technical courseware development and related business experience.
• Learning Management System (LMS) experience.

Responsibilities

• Designs, builds, and implements web-based multi-media development solutions.
• Develops curriculum, course material, and assessment techniques.
• Supports design and implementation of projects.
• Conducts and supports in-person training modules when necessary.
• Provides subject matter support to appropriate areas.
• Collaborates with team members and internal clients to design effective development solutions.
• Provides technology support and project management for department initiatives.
• Helps set strategies for e-Learning initiatives.
• Promotes innovation in e-Learning and ILT throughout the curriculum.
• Reviews programs to assess online delivery potential and advise on redesign using e-Learning.
