Job summary

Connex Education Partnership is recruiting an Early Years Practitioner in Colliers Wood, London. The role offers flexibility, a five-day-a-week schedule, and a chance to work across baby, toddler and pre-school rooms, supporting children in a nurturing setting.

You will plan play-based activities, work with nursery staff, and help children develop confidence, creativity and independence while adhering to safeguarding policies.

Qualifications

Location: Colliers Wood, London | Pay: £15.60–£17 per hour | Contract: Flexible, Monday to Friday, 8am–6pm

Connex Education is working with a welcoming nursery in Colliers Wood, London to recruit a flexible Early Years Practitioner. This is a lovely opportunity to support children across the baby, toddler and pre-school rooms while building your experience in a nurturing early years environment. About the Role / Setting

The nursery supports children to become confident, curious learners by following their interests and enhancing their learning experiences. Their approach encourages critical thinking, creativity, independence and active participation within a community-based setting. Children are given space to immerse themselves in play, explore freely and take responsibility for their learning. You will work closely with nursery staff to create safe, engaging and meaningful experiences for children across the setting.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum Level 3 qualification related to Early Years is essential.
• Previous early years experience is essential.
• Paediatric First Aid certification is desirable.
• A genuine passion for supporting young children’s learning and development.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Patience, reliability and a caring approach.
• Driving licence is desirable but not essential.
• Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS check and provide satisfactory references.
