Job summary

Equinor ASA invites applicants for the North Development Program 2027 – Engineer Drilling & Well Operations in Harstad, Norway. The program focuses on planning drilling, completions, well interventions and subsea activities, with development tasks and early responsibility.

You will work in a global, safety‑driven environment, perform drilling engineering tasks, and participate in shaping future drilling practices while learning through rotations and stretch assignments.

Qualifications

• Completed degree by August 2027.
• No more than three years full-time relevant work experience.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Willingness to learn Norwegian.

Responsibilities

• Plan drilling and completion operations, well interventions and subsea activities.
• Provide drilling engineering support and expert functions across the organisation.
• Carry out tasks with limited guidance following defined guidelines and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external parties to share practices and updates.
• Develop and improve ways of working and contribute to continuous safety and efficiency.
