Job summary

CTS Group is seeking an experienced Document Controller to join our Norway team and support major data centre projects across the UK and wider EMEA region. You will govern document control processes, manage systems, and ensure information is accurate, accessible, and auditable throughout project lifecycles.

Reporting to the Project Controls function, you will mentor junior staff, collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, contractors and clients, and drive continuous improvement in

Qualifications

• > Minimum 2-5 years' experience in document control within construction, engineering, infrastructure, or data centre projects.
• > Demonstrated leadership of document control on large-scale projects.
• > Strong knowledge of lifecycle documentation and information management principles.
• > Experience with document management systems such as Aconex, ACC, Procore, SharePoint or equivalent.
• > Excellent understanding of numbering, revision control, transmittals, workflows, and audit requirements.
• > Advanced Excel skills and strong organizational capabilities.
• > Full professional proficiency in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage document control activities across multiple data centre construction projects.
• Develop, implement, and maintain document control procedures, standards and best practices.
• Act as primary point of contact for document management and information control.
• Mentor Document Controllers and project administration teams across projects.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance document control efficiency and data quality.
• Establish and maintain document control systems, workflows, and version control processes within project information management systems.
• Coordinate flow of documentation between clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams.
• Provide training and guidance on document control procedures and systems.
• Support audits relating to project documentation and information governance.
• Produce and distribute reports on document status, submissions, approvals, overdue items and KPIs.
