Job summary

IKM Consultants AS in Stord is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to lead Mechanical Completion activities within the Mechanical/Piping discipline. You will plan, coordinate and execute MC tasks with safety and efficiency at the core of project delivery.

Responsibilities include coordinating progress, quality, resources and budget, establishing procedures and supporting suppliers, fabrication yards and handover to operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree or technical education with MC/completion experience
• 3 years of Completion experience
• Experience as MC at Stord is required
• Industry experience required
• Strong leadership to guide and support discipline personnel
• Experience from EPC projects in Topsides & Facilities, Renewables or similar environments
• Experience with PIMS, MIPS, ProCoSys, Microsoft 365 and Autodesk Simulate

Required expertise

• Bachelor's or master's degree, or technical education combined with extensive MC and completion experience
• Must have 3 year(s) of Completion experience
• Previous as MC at Stord experience is required
• Industry experience required
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide, motivate and support discipline personnel
• Experience from EPC projects within Topsides & Facilities, Renewables or similar project environments
• Must have previous experience with PIMS, MIPS, ProCoSys, Microsoft 365 and Autodesk Simulate

Language: Good communication skills in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken
