Job summary

Tieto Banktech is seeking a DevOps Software Engineer to own the SLS platform, build, package, release and operate it with developers and AO teams. You will enhance CI/CD, automate environments, and strengthen release governance across Windows/IIS tech stacks and SQL Server.

The role emphasizes end-to-end ownership, strong automation, and collaboration with clients and internal teams in a hybrid work setting in Norway.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/SE or related field.
3+ years DevOps, development, or operations experience.
Solid experience with C#/.NET, SQL Server, and Windows/IIS.
Hands-on CI/CD with Git and Azure DevOps/TFS or similar.
Strong automation mindset and scripting (PowerShell).

Responsibilities

Plan and execute deployments and upgrades to internal and customer environments (DEV/UAT/PREPROD/PROD).
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate release processes.
Automate environment setup and configuration (IIS, Windows services, certificates).
Production AO work: monitoring, incident response, troubleshooting, RCA with stakeholders.
Improve observability and runbooks; support secure-by-default pipelines.
Document operational procedures and support audits/compliance needs.
