Job summary

MaineHealth Stephens Hospital in Maine is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant II to assist in nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse in the Day Surgery/PACU setting.

You will perform direct and indirect care duties, support patient comfort and safety during 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM shifts, and maintain compassionate, high-quality patient care as part of a dedicated care team.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
• License/Certifications: Current applicable state license as a CNA/LNA required. BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• Experience: At least six months of CNA/LNA experience required.
• Demonstrates competency in essential functions and clinical knowledge of a CNA I.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the administration of nursing care under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Perform direct and indirect care duties.
• Support patient comfort and safety in the Day Surgery/PACU setting.
