Job summary

MaineHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse II for the Acute Care unit on a per diem/night schedule. The role requires a BSN preferred candidate with an RN license and current BLS; one year of RN experience is expected.

The nurse will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care while collaborating with the health care team to ensure optimal outcomes. Automatic advancement from RN I after onboarding requirements and good standing is noted.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Current state RN license; BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days of start date.
• Experience: One year of recent RN experience required; automatic advancement from RN I after onboarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provides high quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of outcomes.
• Collaborates, delegates, and communicates with the care team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Supports per diem/nights schedule and adapts to unit needs as RN II level.
