Job summary

Petrolia NOCO AS is seeking a Data Manager in Bergen to structure and optimize technical and business data. You will ensure AI-ready data and collaborate with IT and technical teams to drive data governance and accessibility.

The role emphasizes data quality, system integration, and opportunities for automation and analytics within the energy sector. Flexible work arrangements are supported.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in data management, information management, IT or a related field.
• Relevant higher education in IT, data, engineering, geoscience or similar.
• Good understanding of databases, data structures and modern IT systems.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power BI, or SQL is an advantage.
• Experience from the energy/E&P industry is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain structured technical and business data.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, integrity and accessibility.
• Drive the preparation and structuring of data to make it AI-ready and enable future AI and advanced analytics applications.
• Establish and improve data-management standards, processes and workflows.
• Support users in the efficient use of data systems and digital tools.
• Work closely with IT and technical teams on system integration, data migration and improvement initiatives.
• Support information governance, access management and data security.
• Identify opportunities for improved workflows, automation, AI and digitalisation.
• Act as a bridge between technical users, business needs and IT solutions.
