Job summary

Qualifications

• Enrolled in the final year of a first university degree or postgraduate degree in Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Public Policy, Gender Studies, Psychology, Sociology or related fields.
• Be enrolled in a postgraduate degree programme, or have recently graduated and can start internship within one year.
• Interest in global development, governance, rule of law, gender equality and using data for public policy.

Responsibilities

• Support research on governance, data sharing, and institutional incentives across public institutions.
• Assist mapping country practices related to data sharing and public finance.
• Analyze legal, institutional, and privacy aspects affecting data sharing and transparency.
• Contribute to country-level surveys, case studies and knowledge products on governance of data sharing.
• Support stakeholder mapping, technical consultations, and knowledge exchanges with government and statistical offices.
• Prepare briefing materials, presentations, data analyses and communications for the data sharing workstream.
• Engage with international statistical processes and forums and contribute to relevant meetings.
