Job summary

Fortica is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead on-site operations for data centre projects in Norway and the Nordics. You will coordinate our teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to keep work safe, on schedule, and to high quality standards.

Strong leadership, HSE knowledge, and English proficiency are essential, with willingness to travel. Responsibilities include coordinating daily site activities, ensuring compliance with drawings and safety rules, conducting toolbox talks, quality

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience as a site manager or in a similar leadership role in construction.
• Experience from data centres, industrial buildings or other technical projects is a strong plus.
• You know how to lead subcontractors and site teams.
• You know construction safety (HSE) and quality control.
• Good English, spoken and written.
• Driving licence class B.
• Flexible and mobile: willing to travel and work on projects in Norway and abroad.
• A data centre certification (CDCP) is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily work on site and coordinate our own teams, subcontractors and suppliers
• Plan the work so it follows the schedule, the drawings and the safety rules
• Hold toolbox talks, site inspections and quality checks
• Report progress to the Project Manager and work with the client to solve problems quickly
• Keep site documents in order: permits, safety reports and progress records
• Follow up material deliveries and site logistics
