Job summary

Future Engineering Recruitment Ltd in Oslo seeks an experienced Estimator to support commercial planning of major data centre developments. You will collaborate with pre-construction, design, procurement and commercial teams to produce accurate estimates for large construction packages.

From early tender stages, you will review project information, identify commercial risks and develop cost plans to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience estimating for major or technically complex projects.
• Background in data centres, manufacturing, industrial or major infrastructure is advantageous.
• Construction/engineering or quantity surveying qualification is beneficial.
• Willingness to relocate to Oslo.
• Ability to review drawings, specs and tender documents.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specifications, tender documents and scopes of work
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for major construction packages
• Complete quantity take-offs and develop bills of quantities
• Issue enquiries to subcontractors and suppliers
• Analyse quotations and prepare commercial comparisons
