Job summary

Vallum Associates seeks an experienced Electrical QA/QC Manager to lead QA/QC activities for a major hyperscale Data Centre development in Norway. The role ensures electrical systems are installed, inspected, tested and prepared for energisation in line with project specifications and client requirements.

The ideal candidate holds an Electrical Engineering degree, has prior QA/QC leadership on large construction projects and deep knowledge of HV/MV/LV distribution, testing protocols and handover

Qualifications

• Must have degree or relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong QA/QC background on major construction projects, especially data centres or mission-critical infra.
• Experience with HV/MV/LV distribution and data centre electrical infrastructure.
• Familiarity with ITPs, NCRs, testing, energisation readiness and handover documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage Electrical QA/QC strategy, ITPs and quality documentation.
• Oversee quality across electrical systems including HV, MV and LV distribution, transformers, switchgear, UPS and generators.
• Review method statements, material submittals, technical documentation and test records.
• Conduct site inspections to verify installations against drawings and specs.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, construction, consultants, design engineers and commissioning teams.
• Manage non-conformances, defects, corrective actions and quality close-out.
