Job summary

Thor in Narvik, Norway is seeking a Mechanical Technician/Engineer for a major data center project. The role supports a long-term, initial 12-month contract with a 2 weeks on / 1 week off rotation and travel and accommodation covered.

Ideal candidates will have strong site-based mechanical construction experience and knowledge of HVAC, chilled water, piping systems or ventilation, with ability to read drawings and coordinate with subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams on mission-critical

Qualifications

• Experience as Mechanical Technician, Mechanical Engineer, Site Engineer, Project Engineer or similar on site.
• Strong site-based mechanical construction experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC, chilled water, cooling, pipework and/or ventilation systems.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and mechanical documentation.
• Experience working with subcontractors and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Data center or mission-critical project experience is highly advantageous.
