Job summary

CTS Group is seeking an experienced Project Design Manager in Norway to lead and coordinate design activities for complex projects, with emphasis on data-center developments. You will drive the design process from early phase through execution, ensuring high quality and collaboration across disciplines.

The role requires 8–10 years in design or engineering, experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and familiarity with ASHRAE and EN50600 standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture, Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• 8–10 years of relevant design or engineering experience.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Background from complex or mission-critical projects (data centers, hospitals, infrastructure) is an advantage.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit or BIM platforms.

Responsibilities

• Leading and coordinating the design process across disciplines.
• Working closely with engineers, architects, contractors, and internal teams.
• Ensuring designs meet applicable Nordic and European standards and regulations.
• Following up design progress, timelines, and deliverables.
• Reviewing drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Supporting optimization of design solutions for efficiency, scalability, and performance.
• Managing interfaces between stakeholders and ensuring alignment on requirements.
• Identifying risks early and contributing to practical solutions.
• Supporting project delivery with a strong focus on quality and execution.
