Job summary

Zenitel is seeking a proactive Project Engineer – Cyber Security to strengthen our engineering team in Norway. You will combine cyber security expertise with hands-on involvement in technical projects to ensure secure communication solutions meeting security standards and customer requirements.

You will own projects with a focus on cyber security, develop our security approach, and serve as a trusted technical advisor across the project organization. Initiative and teamwork are valued.

Qualifications

• Degree in Cyber Security, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in cyber security and familiar with IEC 62443.
• Knowledge of networks and network security.
• Experience with security testing, assessments, or compliance.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Maritime, OT, or industrial network experience is a plus.
• Project experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support projects with cyber security expertise.
• Advise customers and work with industry authorities.
• Ensure solutions meet cyber security requirements and standards.
• Plan, test, document, and deliver cyber security activities in projects.
• Perform security testing and compliance checks.
• Help improve cyber security processes and best practices.
• Share knowledge and support cyber security awareness across the company.
