Zenitel is seeking a Project Engineer – Cyber Security to strengthen our engineering team in the Maritime & Energy sector. You will combine cyber security expertise with hands-on project work to ensure our communication solutions meet security standards and customer requirements.

You will own your projects, help develop our cyber security approach, and advise across the project organization. We value initiative, collaboration and the ability to stay ahead of evolving security requirements.

As cyber security requirements continue to evolve, ensuring secure and reliable communication systems is becoming increasingly important in the Maritime & Energy sector. We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Project Engineer -- Cyber Security to strengthen our engineering team and play a key role in securing our project and system deliveries.

In this role, you will combine your cyber security expertise with hands-on involvement in technical projects, ensuring our communication solutions meet relevant security standards and customer requirements. You will also take ownership of your own projects, with a particular focus on cyber security. You will have the opportunity to develop our approach to cyber security and become a trusted technical advisor across our project organization.

We are looking for someone who takes initiative, challenges established ways of working and stays ahead of emerging requirements in a rapidly changing market.

Your key responsibilities

Support projects with cyber security expertise

Advise customers and work with industry authorities

Desired qualifications

Degree in Cyber Security, IT, Engineering, or a related field

Experience in cyber security and familiar with IEC 62443

Knowledge of networks and network security

Experience with security testing, assessments, or compliance

Good communication and problem-solving skills

Maritime, OT, or industrial network experience is a plus

Project experience is an advantage
