Zaptec AS in Stavanger is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to strengthen security across our growing EV charging platform. You’ll work hands-on, protecting users, devices, cloud services and networks while collaborating with multiple teams to embed security into our products and processes.

You’ll help identify risks, improve configurations, and advance secure-by-design practices, with a focus on practical improvements and awareness across the organization.

Qualifications

• Hands-on cybersecurity experience in security engineering or similar role.
• Ability to translate risks into practical security improvements.
• Experience with monitoring, incident response and collaboration with SOC.
• Familiarity with securing identities, endpoints, cloud and networks.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen identity and access security across users, roles, and privileged accounts.
• Improve endpoint security and device posture across laptops and mobile devices.
• Secure network access with modern controls and protection.
• Detect, investigate and respond to security events with SOC collaboration.
• Identify and reduce vulnerabilities across identities, endpoints, cloud services and internal systems.
• Improve secure configurations and baselines for devices and cloud environments.
