Job summary

Lokotech Group, a Norwegian semiconductor and hardware company, seeks a CTO to lead first-silicon bring-up and own the technology roadmap from there: a second-generation ASIC on a more advanced node and edge AI ventures. You will combine executive responsibility with hands-on silicon work and communicate engineering risk credibly to the board and markets.

As a small, milestone-driven group with global partners, you will build and guide distributed engineering teams, shape the long-term hardware

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience taking at least one chip from tape-out through first-silicon bring-up, including wafer test, packaging, characterization and silicon debug.
• Track record maturing technology to commercial scale.
• Experience managing re-spin decisions and negotiating with foundries and assembly partners.
• Depth in digital ASIC architecture spanning high-throughput compute and AI inference.
• Comfort spanning hardware and cloud software with working firmware and embedded competence.

Responsibilities

• Bring our first silicon to life from tape-out to bring-up, characterization and validation.
• Manage re-spin risk with foundry and assembly partners to hit milestones.
• Lead the next-generation ASIC roadmap and migration to a more advanced node.
• Own the compute and AI inference architecture for the dual-purpose chip.
• Represent the company technically to the board, market and JV partners.
