Job summary

ODFJELL PHILIPPINES, INC. is seeking a Crewing Operations professional to support deployment, rotation and vessel assignments for seafarers. You will work with minimal supervision, prioritise effectively, and help keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires strong communication with seafarers and internal stakeholders, and proficiency in MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint). A college background in science or management is preferred, with 1–2 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop crew deployment plans based on vessel assignments and rotations.
• Facilitate crewing deployment activities from documentation, training and dispatch to repatriation.
• Coordinate with internal/external contacts for dispatch and disembarkation activities (PEME, PDOS, flights, hotels, training, briefings, exit interviews, port disbursement).
• Prepare reports to aid management of crewing operations.

In this role, you'll work with minimal supervision while prioritizing effectively, maintaining continuity despite interruptions, and keeping operations running smoothly. You'll apply your technical expertise to develop new ideas and systems, improve existing processes, and drive continuous improvement. Beyond your technical expertise, you'll build strong relationships with seafarers and internal stakeholders through clear communication, trust, and professionalism.

Areas Of Responsibility

The position provides support in all areas of crewing operations, including deployment, rotation, and vessel assignments of seafarers.

Tasks

• Develops plans for crew deployment based on approved vessel assignments and rotations
• Facilitates all crewing deployment activities from documentations, training and dispatch up to repatriation of seafarers
• Coordinates with internal and external contacts for dispatch- and disembarkation-related activities as Pre-Employment Medical Examination (PEME) administration, Pre-Departure Orientation and Seminar (PDOS) schedule, domestic/international flight/hotel bookings, mandatory training enrolment, final briefing, exit interviews, port disbursement processing, etc.
• Prepares relevant reports to aid management of crewing operations
