Job summary

IKM Consultants AS in Oslo seeks a Mechanical MC Engineer to drive completion activities from planning through handover to operations. You will ensure structured processes and effective use of the C&C Digital Toolbox, and train staff in its application.

The role emphasizes delivering strong CPR/MC/Commissioning expertise, coordinating with suppliers and contractors, and aligning engineering, commissioning, and handover workflows to meet project objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant technical field.
• Solid experience from completion, commissioning, or C&C roles.
• Good knowledge of project models and work processes.
• Documented experience with ProCoSys.

Responsibilities

• Lead structured completion activities from preparation to handover.
• Ensure correct use of work processes and tools, including the C&C Digital Toolbox.

• Provide strong professional competence within CPR/MC/Commissioning in the project.

• Contribute to the evaluation of contracts and supplier deliveries related to completion.

Required expertise

• Relevant technical education (Bachelors/Masters degree).
• Solid experience from completion, commissioning, or C&C roles.
• Good knowledge of project models and work processes.
• Documented experience with ProCoSys.
• Experience from both engineering and execution phases is an advantage.
• Subsea experience is desirable, but not a requirement.
• Structured and analytical, with a strong holistic understanding.
• Confident and comfortable providing professional advice.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
