Job summary

NES Advantage, on behalf of Aker Solutions, is seeking a Completion Engineer: Mech/Piping in Mongstad. This is not a rotation position and the project follows a 4-day on-site work schedule.

You will ensure that all Mechanical Completion checks are completed on time, prepare and maintain the project Completion system, and coordinate multi-discipline punch inspections with commissioning and operation. Interface with construction, commissioning, engineering and operation, facilitate hand-over

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience with Mechanical Completion or Commissioning on oil and gas projects.
• Apprenticeship certificate in piping or mechanical trade.
• Fluency in Norwegian and English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all Mechanical Completion checks are completed on time.

• Follow-up of Mechanical Completion at the construction site.

As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for: Completion Engineer: Mech/Piping in Mongstad.

This is NOT a rotation position. The project follows a 4-day on-site work schedule.

Aker Solutions take care of energy assets in a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to end of production Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities.

What will you be doing?

• Ensure that all Mechanical Completion checks are completed on time.
• Prepare and maintain the project Completion system.
• Follow-up of Mechanical Completion at the construction site.
• Coordinate and execute multi-discipline punch inspection in collaboration with commissioning and operation.
• Interface with construction, commissioning, engineering, and operation.
• Facilitate hand-over processes, RFCC and RFOC.
• Update handover documentation as needed.

We think you should have:

• Offshore or site experience.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with Mechanical Completion or Commissioning from oil and gas projects.
• Certificate of completed apprenticeship for piping or mechanical trade.
• Knowledge of MIPS and ProCoSys.
• Ability to work in team and see other disciplines needs.
• Fluency in Norwegian and English.
• Good cooperative and coordination skills.
• Keen eye for details.
• Strong organizational skills.
