Job summary

Aker Solutions, supported by NES Advantage, is seeking a Completion Engineer: Electro, Instrument, Telecom at Mongstad. This is a non-rotation, 4-day on-site position focused on Mechanical Completion checks, punch inspections, and handover coordination with the construction and commissioning teams.

You will ensure completion systems are prepared and maintained, follow multi-discipline inspections, and collaborate across engineering, operation, and project interfaces to enable safe, efficient

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience with Completion discipline.
• Trade certification within instrumentation or electrical.
• Knowledge of MIPS and ProCoSys.
• Fluency in Norwegian and English.
• Experience with Mechanical Completion or Commissioning.
• Strong teamwork and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all Mechanical Completion checks are completed on time.
• Prepare and maintain the project Completion system.
• Follow-up of Mechanical Completion at the construction site.
• Coordinate and execute multi-discipline punch inspections with the customer.
• Interface with construction, commissioning, engineering, and operation.
• Facilitate hand-over processes and RFCC.

As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for: Completion Engineer: Electro, Instrument, Telecom in Mongstad.

This is NOT a rotation position. The project follows a 4-day on-site work schedule.

Aker Solutions take care of energy assets in a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to end of production Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities.

What will you be doing?

Ensure that all Mechanical Completion checks are completed on time.

Prepare and maintain the project Completion system.

Follow-up of Mechanical Completion at the construction site.

Coordinate and execute multi-discipline punch inspection in collaboration with Customer

Interface with construction, commissioning, engineering, and operation.

Facilitate hand-over processes and RFCC.

We think you should have:

Good knowledge of working procedures and requirements for electrical and instrument trades.

Minimum 3 years’ experience with Completion discipline.

Trade certification within instrumentation or electrical.

Ability to work in team and see other disciplines needs.

Experience with Mechanical Completion or Commissioning.

Knowledge of MIPS and ProCoSys.

Good cooperative and coordination skills.

Fluency in Norwegian and English.

Structured mindset.
