Job summary

Town of Slave Lake is seeking a Facility Attendant for both Full-Time and Casual roles at our Multi-Recreation Centre. The role requires a dynamic, customer‑oriented approach and energy to join our team.

Salary ranges from $18.72 to $23.59 per hour, with various duties including facility upkeep, safety compliance, and occasional outdoor maintenance. The successful candidate will greet users, maintain cleanliness, operate relevant equipment, and adhere to Health and Safety guidelines while

Qualifications

• Ability to operate small equipment safely.
• Possession of an Alberta Class 5 Driver’s License.
• Previous customer service experience.
• Current certification in First Aid and CPR is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Greet facility users in a friendly, welcoming manner.
• Maintain MultiRec Centre and area to industry standards.
• Assist in providing a clean and welcoming facility, including janitorial tasks.
• Operate equipment per manufacturer manuals and Town policies.
• Perform maintenance on equipment as required.
• Adhere to Health and Safety policies and WHMIS guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Assist with Parks maintenance, repairs and waste removal.
