Job summary

FutureCare Health is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to maintain building assets and support residents and staff. Under limited direction, you will perform general service and repair tasks to keep facilities within budgetary guidelines while ensuring safety and reliability.

Key responsibilities include preventative maintenance, accurate record-keeping, and adherence to regulatory standards. The role requires physical capability, a courteous demeanor, and the ability to multitask across a dynamic

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 2 years’ experience in building maintenance or similar roles preferred.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Must be able to meet physical demands including lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provides ongoing preventative maintenance for the facility, building systems, fire/safety equipment and medical equipment.
• Performs repairs and maintains records and logs and produces required reports.
• Ensures compliance with State and Federal Regulatory codes.
• Adheres to FutureCare’s ethics and compliance standards.
• Keeps maintenance workshop clean and safe at all times.
• Monitors refrigerator temperatures daily and logs readings.
• Tests and logs water temperatures daily.
• Observes budgetary guidelines for supplies and services and follows PO procedures.
• Follows facility policies and performs other duties as assigned.
