Job summary

StaffHost digital is seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our fast-growing Norwegian IT consultancy and Microsoft partner. You will work with customers to implement, modernize and transform hybrid IT environments, leveraging strong Azure and on-premises foundations.

You will collaborate across projects, advising on technology choices, security and governance while delivering scalable cloud solutions and strong long-term relationships with clients.

Qualifications

• Solid Microsoft Azure experience and cloud infrastructure background.
• Knowledge of Windows Server, VMware/Hyper-V, networking and security, backup and disaster recovery.
• Experience with hybrid environments and on-premises to cloud migrations.

Are you an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer who enjoys working across both modern cloud technologies and traditional IT infrastructure?

This is a great opportunity to join an experienced technical team and work closely with customers on the operation, modernisation and transformation of hybrid IT environments. The role will suit someone who has solid Microsoft Azure experience but also understands that successful cloud adoption often starts with a solid understanding of what sits behind it - from Windows and Active Directory to virtualization, networking, identity & security and existing on-premises infrastructure.

What we're looking for

We’re particularly interested in experienced professionals with a solid background in Microsoft Azure and cloud infrastructure, ideally combined with experience from traditional on-premises environments. Knowledge of the following is required:

• Infrastructure operations and modernisation
• Hybrid environments and cloud migration
