Tieto Banktech in Bergen is seeking a Software Architect to modernize and scale our Card Issuing platform. You will contribute to cloud-native migrations, API ecosystems, and architectural governance as we expand beyond the Nordics.

Qualifications

• Experience as an architect leading modernization projects with API ecosystems.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams across technology, product, and compliance.
• Experience operationalizing architecture governance and presenting to boards/steering groups.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a team with product and system responsibility for Tieto Card solutions.
• Migrate from legacy to cloud-native services ensuring resilience and compliance.
• Develop and rollout a secure, scalable API developer portal for internal/external developers.
• Contribute to the enterprise architect team and architecture boards; uphold principles and standards.
• Conduct solution reviews ensuring alignment with security and compliance requirements.
• Communicate artifacts, decision logs, and updates to maintain transparency across teams.
• Foster architectural excellence and continuous improvement within the team and organization.
