Job summary

TietoBanktech in Bergen is seeking a Software Architect for the Card Issuing unit to modernise and scale our modular Cards platform, with emphasis on cloud-native solutions and API ecosystems.

You will participate in migration from legacy to cloud-native services, contribute to architecture governance, and help shape the enterprise architecture strategy across sales engagements and project deliveries.

Qualifications

• Experience as an architect leading complex modernization projects.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams across technology, product and compliance.
• Experience operationalising architecture governance with boards/steering groups.
• Agile mindset with results-oriented approach and strategic roadmap delivery.
• Interest in Customer Architect role for large strategic customers over time.

Responsibilities

• Participate in migration from legacy to cloud-native services with resilience and compliance.
• Develop and roll out a secure, scalable API developer portal.
• Contribute to enterprise architect team and architecture boards.
• Publish architecture artifacts, decision logs, and stakeholder updates.
• Drive architectural excellence and continuous improvement across teams.
• Ensure solutions align with security and compliance requirements.
