Job summary

NTNU invites applications for a Researcher position in Medical Technology within the Bioinformatics group of the Department of Clinical and Molecular Medicine. The project focuses on spatial and bulk transcriptomics analysis of prostate cancer, integrating data to identify clinically useful biomarkers for treatment response.

The role collaborates across Nordic partners and requires a PhD in bioinformatics or related field.

Qualifications

• PhD in bioinformatics, biostatistics or a related field.
• Proficient programming in Python and/or R.
• Experience with Linux and high-level English communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and perform data analysis for spatial and bulk transcriptomics.
• Integrate spatial and bulk data to generate biomarkers for treatment response.
• Contribute to scientific publications within the Nordic PCPM Forum consortium.
