Morson Talent is seeking an Avionic/Electrical Aircraft Technician to support aerospace/defence operations. The role is based in Norway, with UK work stints and travel between Yeovil and Norwegian bases.
Candidates must have AW101 maintenance exposure and a background in aircraft maintenance. The position involves working at multiple Forward Operating Bases, predominantly at Sola, with a 37–45 hour week depending on location and contract needs.
Morson Talent are currently looking to recruit a Avionic/ Electrical Aircraft Technician to support our prestigious Aerospace/Defence Client. This role is based in Norway providing maintenance support for the AW101 aircraft.
Due to the nature of the role applicants will be required to have carried out maintenance work on the AW101 aircraft previously.
UK Pay Rate - £20.00/hour Umbrella/ LTD with £2.00 retention bonus (applicable for the time training or working in Yeovil)
Norway Day Rate - £38.29 + £2 retention bonus (paid via in country umbrella payroll solution)
Due to the nature/authorisations of the role applicants will be required to have the following:
Will be required to work at any of the Forward Operating Bases FOB’s, Sola, Banak, Bodo, Ryggeor Floro or the Main Support Base (MSB) Kjeller. Predominately based at Sola.
You will be paid for a fixed 45 hour week/52 weeks per year whilst in Norway and will be expected to work 45 hours a week in support of the contract, should the workload allow a lesser working week, a minimum of 37 hours a week must be worked.
A fixed 37 hour week whilst in the UK.
The initial outbound and returning flight at the end of the contract including airport transfers up to the value of £500 per flight/transfer (UK from the Yeovil base only and in Norway to an agreed location).
An additional sum of up to £600 may be for the purposes of taking annual leave for every 3 months of support to the operation.
UK – During the term of the contract in the UK you will be required to arrange and fund your own accommodation and travel.
Norway – Accommodation shall be funded up to a limit of 20,000 NOK per month.
The cost of a car for an individual up to a maximum of 3,000 NOK per month will be provided.
