Job summary

Heli-One in Stavanger, Norway, seeks a Skilled Mechanic/Technician to ensure airworthiness and safety of their helicopter fleet. This permanent full-time position requires strong teamwork and a proactive approach to maintenance in compliance with quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Support quality assurance and safety procedures.
  • Participate in daily tool control.
  • Contribute to continuous maintenance improvement.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Role Summary

Location: Stavanger, Norway | Employment type: Full‑time Permanent.

A permanent full‑time position reporting to the Airframes Supervisor. You will be responsible for ensuring the airworthiness, safety and reliability of our helicopter fleet, working in a collaborative and safety‑focused environment to deliver high‑quality maintenance services in line with regulatory and company standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance tasks in accordance with approved maintenance plans and manuals.
  • Participate in modification work on helicopters.
  • Carry out fault finding, troubleshooting, and rectification of aircraft systems.
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with aviation regulations and quality standards.
  • Support and adhere to quality assurance and safety procedures.
  • Participate in daily tool control and housekeeping activities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of maintenance practices.
  • Perform additional duties as required by the business.
Qualifications, Skills & Attributes
  • Trade Certificate (Aircraft Mechanic / Avionic).
  • EASA Part‑66 AML B1 and/or B2 Licence (preferred).
  • EMAR 66 MAML B1 and/or B2 with AW101 endorsement (preferred).
  • Basic understanding of aircraft systems and maintenance practices.
  • Experience on one or more of the following aircraft types is an advantage: AS332 / AS365 / EC225 / S92 / AW139 / AW101.
  • Ability to work independently with strong initiative.
  • High level of attention to detail and quality.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Good communication skills in Norwegian and/or English, both written and verbal.
  • Flexible and proactive approach to problem‑solving.
Eligibility
