Job summary

CHC Helicopter Service AS is seeking a motivated Production Planner on Base Maintenance to join our Technical team in Stavanger/Sola, Norway. This full-time, permanent role reports to the Assistant Maintenance Manager or Supervisor and supports CAMO maintenance planning.

You will help maintain aircraft availability by planning and following up maintenance tasks, collaborating with engineers and regional teams to coordinate short- and long-term plans in pursuit of CHC’s operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance planning within aviation or a technically complex industry.
• Experience working with CMMS Planning Software (preferably AMOS).
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with multiple departments and stakeholders.
• Good understanding of technical documentation.
• Strong IT skills, familiarity with MS Office Suite.
• Previous experience within the aviation industry is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance work packages, associated work orders & progress reporting.
• Prepare maintenance plans for production activities in close collaborations with supervisors and engineers.
• Coordinate with Inspection Supervisors to ensure maintenance schedules are aligned with available manpower and resources.
• Liaise with the Regional Material Coordinator to ensure timely availability of tools, materials, and parts, including issuing pick slips for available components.
• Monitor maintenance progress and adjust plans in response to operational requirements, resource constraints, or emerging priorities.
• Participate planning meetings with Production teams and part in regional planning meetings.
• Support long-term modification and heavy maintenance planning in CAMO.
• Identify and elevate risks or constraints affecting maintenance execution.
• Produce Scorecard and follow up on highlighted issues.
• Report on base maintenance status, material shortages, constraints, and RTS dates to key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with global planning team to improve planning processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by the Team Leader or Supervisor.
