Job summary

Terry Soot Management Group (TSMG) is seeking an Autonomous Vehicle Test Operator to operate and evaluate self-driving vehicles, collect data, provide feedback, and offer ride-hail service to the public. Responsibilities include driving/monitoring AVs, testing vehicle functions, and producing detailed ride reports.

The role requires a 21+ year old with a valid Class C license and at least 3 years driving experience. Flexibility for various shifts, including overnight, is needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid Class C driver’s license.
• Must have at least 3 years of experience as a Class C licensed driver.
• Ability to operate autonomous vehicles and monitor AV systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate autonomous vehicles on defined and undefined routes under various conditions, primarily monitoring the vehicle’s behavior.
• Test other aspects of the autonomous vehicles.
• Complete timely ride reports for operations and engineering teams.
