Job summary

KONGSBERG is seeking a Product Advisor for its Vessel Robotics team in Vestfold, Norway. You will blend technical insight with customer value to shape next-generation autonomous underwater robots from concept through deployment.

You will work with engineers and partners like Jotun, translating needs into clear requirements and leading projects across the product lifecycle. This role demands teamwork, cross-disciplinary communication, and willingness to travel for verification and conferences.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Cybernetics, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience in product development, technology development, or a related technical environment.
Strong communication skills in English (and Norwegian).

Responsibilities

Support the development and evolution of autonomous underwater robotic products.
Collaborate with Product Manager and partner to define and refine requirements.
Translate operational and market needs into concrete product specs.
Contribute to systems engineering, innovation, and capability optimization.
Take ownership of one or more projects and related activities.
Participate in technical verification and product system validation.
Travel for verification, system validation, and conferences.
